About The Walt
The Walt is a four-piece post-punk/indie rock band consisting of musicians known from We vs. Death and Kismet. Their music can be described as rugged and varied drum rhythms, sharp and pacing guitarriffs, maniacal singing and screaming and a thumbing bass. This can’t go wrong. It’s urgent rock which can’t be ignored.

Beep! Beep! Back up the Truck is the first Dutch record label to distribute their complete discography for free under a Creative Commons licence.
By using this licence all of our releases can be fully streamed and downloaded for free online, as it should be!

Still, our main focus is releasing and promoting hardcopy albums. Since our digital stuff is free we put a lot of effort in creating beautiful artwork which you can show off to your friends.

In short, times are changing and that’s a good thing as long as we don’t forget to support our favourite artists.
